Robert Crais. Excellent fiction crime novel. Who-dunit meets ex-soldier of fortune out for revenge in L.A. “A Joe Pike Novel”. Pike (no one calls him, nor is he just an average, Joe) is the super-hero of the professional military contractor class. NO one gets the edge on him. LOTS of action (am I reading any fiction without it these days?), practically no introspection or philosophizing. Recommended.

I really am reading non-fiction and current events in between all the escapist mind candy I’m devouring lately. REALLY! And I’m so proud that I’m watching very little TV. Is there a difference? Dunno, but thank you DougCo Library for more FREE entertainment. I’ve saved a bundle not buying books. Oh, and this book is very good IMO. Don’t worry about the 3 week library checkout time. As with all my recent fiction reads, you’ll finish this much sooner.
