The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest

by Stieg Larsson. I finished at last. The trilogy, that is. This last book was 500 pages in hardcover. I can’t imagine how big the paperback will be. Like the first 2 books, it is a gripping page-turner, hard to put down, but oh so long, so much detail and minutiae.

Since it is a segue from the abruptly ended 2nd book I suspect books 2 and 3 were separated at birth only to keep them from being a single book the size of Atlas Shrugged.

If you even halfway enjoyed the first 2 books I think you will like this one too. It is a thrilling murder mystery with political intrigue, a plot with twists and turns you can follow, and it just keeps going and going and going. I’m glad the series ended. Sometimes I hate books you can’t put down! I do have other things to do, you know!
