Bus tours are finished for the weekend. Today it is Pups General Meeting, Ladies Luncheon, Men’s Canteen, Midday Entertainment, Reunion General Meeting, and evening Beer Bust with raffle.

The Pups meeting is short so there is time to visit and view family scrapbooks about vets.
Viewing scrapbooks. They are history.
The Ladies Luncheon is top secret. The Men’s Canteen, not so much. Sandwiches, chips, and friendship.

At ease gentlemen.
Piet Van Oers, one of 7 visiting Dutch and Belgian Friends of the Timberwolves, gives a fine talk about their work in Europe. These folks make our European tours outstanding. They honor the vets and our freedom always.
The Colors are retired at the end of the meeting.
The WWII vets pose for pictures. TWENTY-TWO FINE MEN!
Judith Avila and Chester Nez’s grandson sell autographed copies of Code Talkers. I’m looking forward to a good read!
Two years ago at the St. Louis Pups reunion we had a talk from a woman who survived the concentration camps. In Colorado Springs last year Pup Peggy Gouras spoke about her successful quest to find what happened to her MIA Uncle Mabry. This year we had inspirational accounts of past and present from Judith Avila and Piet Van Oers. This is what moves me about the Timberwolves Reunions and keeping the meaning of freedom alive.
