It is taking me forever to read and review Lapham’s Quarterly and forever to post pictures in my Florida 2014 series . Today was time for a break and a walk in the park. A dog walk in particular. A charity dog walk in support of cures for pet cancer.
Let’s see if I can keep it simple, post a few photos with as few comments as possible (THAT will be the hard part), and be done with it.
I only used the 35mm lens today (Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens). I haven’t used it much and bought it because Ken Rockwell says it’s his lens of choice.
I took a few warm-up shots first.
(Click, scroll, click, zoom. You know the drill.)

I know with the fixed length lens (35mm in this case) you have to move yourself closer or further from your subject depending on the shot. I’m spoiled with the 18-55mm zoom and being able to frame it just right. I usually seemed too close with the 35. Practice practice.
Have a nice day.
Walk your dog.
