Union Station Denver

This was not a photography expedition.  Photos were taken with a Canon ELPH100HS and enhanced for brightness in iPhoto.

Though we visit downtown from time to time m'lady and I hadn't been to Union Station in over a decade.

The Great Hall:

Some people in the Great Hall actually appear to be waiting for a train.

What others wait for I’m not sure.

The recently refurbished station has many fine new restaurants that attract downtown employees and tourists alike.  There is a boutique hotel (The Crawford) now there also.

The Denver Millennium Bridge, in a style I’ve seen many places in Europe for over 20 years, is next to the station:

Denver is not a cow-town anymore.

  1. Lovely photos and great building – so clean and bright. Sadly, our trains don’t really work here and our station is a bit dilapidated compared to this one. I love the parquet flooring in one of your photos –
