Lens-Artists Challenge #44 – Harmony

The challenge this week is led by Tina.

Harmony and color is the challenge from Tina this week, though she gives us the leeway to broadly define it, even sans couleur.

Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind
–Songwriters: Darrell Crofts / Jimmy Seals

What would represent harmony and color more than flowers?  I love flowers, I have oodles of pictures of them, so I’ll skip that.

There is harmony in symmetry, perhaps, in a window in a new, old barn:

Or a cat in the path, while out walking:

There is harmony in nature, a seemingly contented duck in the Monet Pond at the Denver Botanic Gardens:

Or a robin bathing:

As a perpetual dreamer, my head is always, partly at least, in the clouds.
“O give me land, lots of land, and the starry ‘blue’ skies above”
Songwriter: Cole Porter

Harmony is peace, love, and understanding.  Isn’t it?

Enjoy.

    1. Ha ha! I took the kitty picture Friday when a group of us were walking part of the Highline Canal trail here in Denver. While we were gathering in the parking lot a Red-winged Blackbird was hanging out on the rearview mirror of a couple of cars. When we got back 1 3/4 hrs later it was still on the rearview mirror. Narcissist.

  1. Well done John – you get the award for widest variety of harmonies, all of which fit the theme beautifully! Love the little kitty on your walk (altho I will admit I’m not much of a cat person, this one is particularly appealing!)

    1. Ha ha! I’m not a cat person either, but it strolled out in the path while I was taking the barn window picture. I really liked your color analysis. Intriguing subject.
