Lens-Artists Challenge #54 – Detail

[Categories: Photography, Photography 101 Forever
[Photos this week are hosted right here on WordPress.  Somewhere…  serene.]

[All photos might be right-clicked to open in a new tab or window.  These are recent pictures I’ve taken.]

The Lens Artist Challenge is hosted this week by Patti.

I’m late.  I’m late.  For a very-important-date.

I’m also on the road this week, driving vast swaths of the American West, and staying near a very weeeeeeeak internet signal.  I’m fortunate to have any signal at all.  Horrors, that away from the lodge there is none at all.

As much as I like hazy, gauzy, Impressionist art, I marvel at the incredible detail of the Renaissance painters.  Here is an example, from the superb Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida.

Sorry, you will need to open the following in a separate window, zoom, and squint to read the explanations:

Enjoy
