Great choices John. I saw that train bridge too. Wished a train would add to my photo but no such luck 😕. Excellent perspectives on the castle

Great photos of angles, John. I love forts and castles, so Fort William is my favorite from your choices.

Great angles and perspectives, John, …and you got me dizzy there in the castle…had to hold on to the rails (…!). Loved the train capture on the beautiful bridge too.

Amazing angles John, the second picture looks like a three-story structure. Maybe they had wooden floors back then?

Yes, I think they had wooden floors and multiple storys, with crossbeams between the castle walls. All gone now, with time and weather.

I got vertigo from the Blarney Castle photos, John. No kissing Blarney Stones for me. 🙂
That train looks very Harry Potterish.

Ha ha. You must know that to kiss the Blarney Stone you lie on your back, are lowered over the edge, and kiss it upside down. Talk about vertigo! Speaking of Harry, I wonder if that train was used in the movie? Good candidate.

My husband just googled it. Yep, it is the Hogwarts Express.

Thank you, Isadora. High up for a fairly small castle.

Nice John. Isn’t it amazing what you see if you look up, look down and around corners rather than just straight ahead.
