The Lens Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Tina.
Per Tina: “Double trouble, double-time, two’s company, take two …. the world is filled with references to twosomes. This week, let’s double our pleasure and focus on things that come in twos.”
All photos are from last weekend in a very small college town in southern Iowa.
My ‘premier’ shot:
2+2+(2+2)
or
2x2x2 or…
Silos, high and low, at least 50 years old or so.
There was an art show on campus, and, fresh as I was from the massive Monet exhibit currently at the Denver Art Museum, with 120 mostly Monet paintings, this non-Monet-like work of TWO buildings caught my eye:
Finally, at the university football game Saturday, there were lots of cheerleaders. Not only are there TWO cheer pyramids pictured below, but TWO of the women are identical twins. Can you spot them?
Enjoy.
Kudos, as always, to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.
That’s a creative selection of photos.

Thanks John, both for the kudos and for the fun response. Loved your “non-Monet-ish” example 😊

Well the twins are not the two in the air, but they may be the 2 standing right underneath them

Yes, underneath in the center of each pyramid. Thought I was seeing double for awhile when I first spotted them.

Think I spotted the twins, yes! Love your choices, John, and those two buildings really caught my eye as well.

I like your ‘premier’ shot, John. The non-Monet-like painting is cool. I think I spotted the twins. 🙂

The two pyramids with the twins are fun…not sure about which ones are twins, though. Love the two buildings artwork.

The twins are ground center of each pyramid.

Nice shots John. I love the painting and well done you with the cheerleaders, twosomes aplenty. 🙂
I’m sure there are silos on our Wellington journey that look just like these.
