The Lens Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Leya.
Special Spot Shots is the theme.
Pot shots?
Just one spot?
Special? (Rhymes with orange.)
Interpretations may differ according to user.
‘The Mountains’ are my special spot. Cities are where the people are. They fascinate me, but when I tire of the hustle and bustle, the din, the cacophony, I head to the mountains. I never tire of looking at the vistas of mountain peaks and valleys.
Following are views from one of my favorite ‘spots’, the top of the Excelerator Chairlift at Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
As always, kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.
Best wishes for 2020.
Wonderful captures and scenery John, it looks like a blissful place to be 🙂

i can so relate to your thoughts….I flee when things (people and buzzle) get Too Much – i noticed your mountain images are empty of people. And that is of course the way to go. A peaceful spot – in fact we have a Copper Mountain ski resort in Sweden as well. A bit too far away from me though.

A very special spot indeed John – quite beautiful. Is it as cold as it looks?! Sometime I find myself wondering how I ever loved skiing since my now-Southern blood has taken over from my northern roots. Beautiful captures this week – the snow against the blue sky is spectacular

Dressed properly, I find 20F and up pleasant, especially when the sun is out and the wind speed low. Blue (sky) is a favorite color.
