The Lens Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Patti.
Too much fun. Let’s do it again. Explosive red:
It’s red wine, not fire-engine-red wine. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse a few years ago:
The resident Chihuly at the Denver Botanic Gardens during Christmas lighting, with a bit o’ moon thrown in:
“Now, red solo cup is the best receptical
For barbecues, tailgates, fairs, and festivals…”
“Whoo!
Red solo cup
I fill you up
Let’s have a party” –Toby Keith
(Do I detect a theme here? Only the wino and I know.)
Regardless, Stone Cottage Cellars Merlot 2015 tastes just fine when enjoyed from the top of Jackson Hill while viewing the Grand Tetons in Wyoming, mid-summer:
Finally, the obligatory Colorado sunset, from Silverthorne, CO several years ago, mountain bike handlebar in the shadow on left:
Enjoy.
Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.
Best wishes for 2020.
Very cool pictures!

You have a rough life John! Did you do the Christmas lights this year??

Absolutely. Botanic Gardens is always a little different. We go early, done in an hour+. We have a membership and Botanic Gardens is a place we visit several times a year, even though we are not ultra botanic oriented. I think they do a great job year around.

I love the BG! I used to be a member when I lived nearby. I still try to go a couple times a year.

Ah John, who doesn’t love the red solo cup?! LOL. Did you see the episode of Shark Tank where the guy sold them on a red cup like the solo but with a shot-glass sized indentation on the bottom? Interestingly they bought into it!

Ha ha. That sounds funny. I’m past the shot inside a beer stage. Was that called a Boilermaker? Even though I went to Purdue (The Boilermakers), I didn’t partake of those. 🙂

No, I think the idea was the shot is separate from the inside of the cup. So shot first, or only, then beer. Personally have never had a shot in my life and my only beer ever was in college and it made me sick so I’m not much of a drinker LOL

That Chihuly is impressive, John 👏 I’ve never seen one before! A cup of red with a fantastic view, perfect 😁

Fantastic red splashes – Chihuly of course, but the wine does its thing too!
