The Lens Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Patti.
These challenges are too much fun, thus I will dive in for one more round.
Consider, if you will, “You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind.” (One of the opening narrations of the American tv show Twilight Zone, originally broadcast 1959-1965.)
Suppose… just suppose… you lived in an alternate universe where you had to view everything in a mirror, lest gazing directly at a thing might, like biblical Lot’s wife gazing back at Sodom, turn you to a pillar of salt.
Or perhaps… just perhaps… if you look closely at building reflections you can see a parallel or shadow universe, not unlike that portrayed by China Mieville in his excellent sci-fi murder mystery The City & the City.
