The Lens-Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Patti. Says she: “…we’re taking a fresh look at ordinary, everyday objects–things that you see and use in your daily life.”

A few more came to mind I thought I would share.

Someone posted a picture of pencils. I stumbled upon one of my own, pens, actually. It’s every-day:

What is more everyday and equally rare these days. These four industrial-sized lasted five months, for about twenty bucks total. Oh be joyful:

Every man needs a good hand truck. Properly positioned, one could move the earth, or at least some very large objects. The surrounding detritus is just every-day:

“And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo
I am everyday people” –Sly and the Family Stone

“Everyday, it’s a-gettin’ closer
Goin’ faster than a roller coaster
Love like yours will surely come my way
A-hey, a-hey hey” –Buddy Holly

Stay safe, be well. Be kind to one another. 😷 👏 👍

Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.

  1. HaHA! I like the humor. Cee also had some TP in her photos of the Everyday. I love your pens and the “hand truck” is a good one. My husband has something similar but his is not red. He also has a thing for stacking up suitcases or boxes or hay bales and rolling them along. Both come in handy as I am sure yours does as well.
