Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #113 – A Labor of Love – MUSIC

[A right-click might allow you to open a photo in a separate tab or window.]

The Lens-Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Rusha. Says she: “…world-wide, people pour themselves into their work — paid or unpaid — with commitment, ingenuity, and a sincere desire to make a difference. For them, work has become more than just work. It has become a labor of love.”

MUSIC must be a labor of love. It MUST. It wells from within the very fiber of our being.

The labors I’ve recorded are almost too numerous to display. Click HERE, or the picture below, for a veritable plethora and surfeit of music labors. (Thanks to all who noted a link error. Hope it works properly now.)

Stay safe, be well. Be kind to one another. 😷 👏 👍

Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.

Hmm. Try this: 1. Click on the collage photo in the main post. 2. It should take you to another post, where you scroll down past the banner photo of Buddy Guy the guitarist. (Which does not enlarge.) 3. Click on any part of the next collage, which should let you in to view each picture. Let me know how it goes.

Hi John, I loved your photos and your thought process. Music, taken seriously is hard work and you have to be thick skinned, too. Kudos to all musicians who labor in the art with love. I had the same problem with your photo, but I am reading in my reader rather than directly on your site. That might make a difference.

Now I am on your site, but the picture gives the same oops message. Don’t you love technology??? 🙂 Great post anyway.

  15. An excellent choice for the challenge, John. And you have really captured the theme splendidly with these images. Music has played a large part in my family’s history and as my uncle once told me, “Without music, we’re nothing.” https://skfjrifnd.wordpress.com/2017/12/29/thoughts-on-music/
