The Lens-Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Tina. What a well-thought, well-written, well-photo’d post she has assembled this week.
As I’ve said, mountains MOST inspire me, so I’m posting just a few of those photos.
You can’t argue with Mother Nature. Stop trying.
Skiing, in the mountains, is very inspiring, invigorating, and thrilling to me:
Colorado, love it or leave it. 😉 🙂
Scotland, a wonderful country:
Scotland:
Stay safe, be well. Inspire another. 😷 👏 👍
Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.
General Weekly Challenge info, subject to change:
“Each Saturday at noon EST we will publish a photo challenge similar in form to the now-defunct WPC. If you choose to participate, please make sure to tag your post with the name of our group LENS-ARTISTS so that all of the responses can be found together in the WP Reader. Please also include a link to the challenge moderator’s post. One of our 4 moderators will host the challenge each week.”
With you 100% on the mountains and on skiing John. Unfortunately since we live at sea level and one of our most frequent activities is golf, I’ve hung up my skis. Nothing here could be worse than a broken leg!!!
Majestic mountains, inspiring indeed. Incredible images, John. I agree, skiing is very inspiring, invigorating and exciting. We had some fun skiing experience some years ago. 🙂
YIKES … I skied once in Vermont. My favorite part was getting a hot toddy at the lodge. ~~~ : – )
Loved your photographs with the snow. I haven’t seen snow in quite some time. I live in Florida. There isn’t much chance I’ll see snow anytime soon. Good selections for the challenge this week.Have a great day … Be Safe

John, lovely post … I know there are great mountains in Colorado – had a romance with a ski instructor from Colorado in my very young years. He showed me pictures … he talked about them. He never took me there. *laughing. Scotland I have seen some of them. Scotland is one of my favourite places. I had my office there for 10 years, but along the coast in Dumfries & Galloway. Stunning images, John.
Your beautiful landscapes are inspiring me to free my camera from its case. Now if I can get rid of the smoke!

I used to live on the West Coast of Canada and could always see the coastal mountains. I still miss that so thank you for your mountain photos!

We had an unusually early snow in Denver, around 3 September, but no more here or in the mountains since. Soon!

If I had these views, I might enjoy the winter more. The second to last photograph was my favourite. I like the green pushing back against the winter.

Gorgeous! I love Scotland, I didn’t realize how similar the mountains are to Colorado (at least, they do look similar here.)

An impressive source of inspiration, John. Those mountains look very majestic. And I loved the shot in the previous post, of the flag.
