Lens-Artists Challenge #155 – On The Water

[Categories: Photography, Photography 101 Forever]

Guest host this week is Johnbo

I will be traveling for a time. TRAVELING!

“…Traveling, traveling, traveling
Looking for something, what can it be…” –All I Want by Joni Mitchell

Thus I apologize in advance if I am tardy or remiss in acknowledging your presences or contributions.

When it comes to water, what else is there to say? To paraphrase Ken Kesey, ‘you’re either on the water or off the water’. I trust the water will speak for itself:

Jackson Lake, The Grand Tetons, Wyoming
The Salmon River, west of North Fork, Idaho. ‘The calm’ before the storm (rapids).
Lake Dillon, Colorado. Vivid mode.

Stay safe, stay well, stay wonderful.

  1. Love the Ken Kesey paraphrase and the Joni Mitchell, too, but mostly your soothing serene photos. We sure could have used that water during this week’s heat wave. Safe travels to you John. Best, Babsje

  2. Isn’t it great to be traveling again!
Great photos as always. I seem to recall the Salmon is the “River of No Return” although I am not sure the film of the same name was made there.
