Tina leads on ‘things that are run-down, dilapidated etc’.
How about a segue from Autumn Colors to Seen Better Days.
I’m gamboling and gambling on gambel (oak, that is, scrub oak). I was walking in Castlewood Canyon State Park Friday, a bit late for posting on Autumn Colors, but these leaves have Seen Better Days. We were alerted through a magazine article that scrub oak can reveal the proverbial plethora of fall colors. This area still has a week or two before maximum turn, but you get the idea.

Stay well, stay safe.
I can count on you to put a twist on a challenge! I think the foliage still has good color. Great photos!

Changing season, changing colors. I may question whether the tree has seen better days. Well I guess it may have been more productive before.

Nice colors in those leaves! For me, fall is the best time for trees. Nature’s fireworks.
