AMY leads.
Earth Story.
The stories trees could tell.
Bark. (Woof!) Some of these rival my own aging bark (but that’s another story).

Don’t look back, they might be gaining on you:

Hug a tree today, or any day:

Evolution will sort it all out:

Be safe, be well, be yourself. You’re the best.
Another great challenge response John!

Am right with you on ‘hug a tree’, John. A fine gallery of venerable trees.

Wow, maybe I’ll draw a crab when I get to C in my animal alphabet 😄

We now live close to Westerville, Ohio, home of the temperance movement in the 1800s. That makes me wonder if the next scene on the beer can should be a drunk homo erectus bent over mimicking the posture of his forbearers.

In my home town growing up, the local public school was Joyce Kilmer. Hence everyone I knew growing up was familiar with his poem Trees. Your post reminded me of that piece John. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.

If that bark could speak what tales it would tell of all the things it has seen. Very interesting response to this week’s challenge John.

Trees are amazing storytellers, John and you capture their ancient secrets well. Egads on that spider but love the beer evolution can!

Thank you Terri. I think it’s a crab, not a spider. Eww either way! 😉

No offense, John, but those trees don’t look very huggable. They are kind of gruff, and I don’t like the company that one of them is keeping – not the one getting a human hug. LOL
