ARCHITECTURE

  1. a round or eye-like opening or design.
    • a circular window.
    • the central boss of a volute.

YOU look up ‘central boss of a volute’! I’m clueless.

The Oculus, New York City:

It’s bigger than it looks.
Who would DO such a thing!
The new and the old, co-existing, like me and the rest of the world that’s younger.

Bonus pic, The Interior!

I said it’s big.

Stay well, stay upright, be one subject three ways, or at least be flexible. 🙂

  1. Ah the oculus – I think it is one of the most difficult subjects to really capture John and I applaud your multiple perspectives. I absolutely love its interior which I find truly amazing but must admit I am still not a fan of the exterior. To me it is simply a fish (are in this case a building) out of water. That said you did a terrific job of capturing in from its many perspectives. Terrific subject for the challenge!
