  4. Haha… love the lichen John. That’s a very interesting colour – the reddish orange – much darker than any I have seen around here. Where did you photograph that? As for the little spiky chap, I am amazed that you even saw him!

  8. That’s a horned toad aka horned lizard aka horny toad. We used to have them all around here but I haven’t seen one in a long time. They’re completely harmless. I’m happy to know that there are still some out there somewhere. Your photo made me smile. šŸ™‚
