The Lens Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Patti.

Hummers on the Salmon River, west of North Fork, Idaho:

“Red red wine, you make me feel so fine” -UB40. Nothing says fine red wine like a #StoneCottageCellars wine-to-table dinner:

Sunsets have a lot of yellow and orange, but that’s from red, right? Following is a sub-urban natural beauty in Denver:

I had a sunset seen through boat masts in a harbor. It’s not a great photo, but I so wanted to say ‘red sun in the sail sets’. This will have to do:

It’s winter, my heart is in the snow. I went snow hiking today, but saw only white peaks. Here is an older shot on a Poma lift into the sun:

Back to red, I will close with a closeup of a Christmas light display at the Denver Botanic Gardens last month:

Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.

Best wishes for 2020.

Weekly Challenge info from Tina:
“Each Saturday at noon EST we will publish a photo challenge similar in form to the now-defunct WPC. If you choose to participate, please make sure to tag your post with the name of our group LENS-ARTISTS so that all of the responses can be found together in the WP Reader. Please also include a link to the challenge moderator’s post. One of our 4 moderators will host the challenge each week.”
