The Lens-Artists Challenge is hosted this week by Sue (Mac’s girl).
Says she: “With so much time being spent at home, many of us have been looking for new pastimes or taking up old ones…”

Old puzzle, new puzzle:
My life in pieces:
Well underway, or so it would seem:
What we hope it will look like:
VOILA! Made it. That dark football to the left of center was the last area. REALLY HARD!!
For NFL fans, footballs are signed by Bart Starr (dark one) and Merlin Olsen (lower center).
1,000 pieces, 4 days of fairly dedicated puzzling. Springbok brand, VERY irregular pieces, VERY difficult. I’ll be sticking with Hallmark for awhile, after this one.
Next puzzle, a mere 550 pieces. Similar to, but not actually, Monet’s garden.
NO puzzling today. I need a break. I think I’m already permanently cross-eyed, and my brain feels like mush. Moderation… moderation. (He mumbles as he shuffles off in the distance…)
Enjoy, stay safe, be well.
Kudos to the tireless leaders of the weekly Lens-Artists challenge.
Those Springbok puzzles are certainly a challenge. I rather like the Ravensburger puzzles. Good luck with the Japanese Garden.

I haven’t seen Ravensburger. The Japanese Garden is smaller, 550 pieces, 18×24″ instead of 24×30. Hopefully a bit easier.

Puzzling has become quite the pandemic rage John. I see you’re an expert 😊

I fit the definition of expert I once heard: ‘a former drip under pressure’. 🙂

We started “puzzling” again now with our “quarantine”. We are working on a difficult puzzle, a photograph of Mesa Arch. The 1000 piece puzzle has many, many pieces devoid of pattern, so we only have shape and shade to go by. The puzzle, apparently published by the photographer, Bella Baliko, is really “killing” us.
We are fans of the Ravensburger puzzles, so we now look for them when we want to buy a new puzzle.
