Lens-Artists Challenge #39 – Hello April

[Categories: Photography, Photography 101 Forever]
[Right-click on photos may allow you to open in a new tab or window.]

The challenge is led this week by Amy.

If today were April, this is my morning view from the window:

It will be gone before April arrives, and it will likely, briefly, return after April departs.

M’lady and I plan to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens in April to view the iris and tulips. Meanwhile I have this reminder, from an April 2015 to the Hortus Bulborum (two links) whilst on a Bike and Barge tour:

I will spare you my hundreds of photos from several visits to the Keukenhof Gardens.  For now.

Enjoy.  As much as I love winter, Happy Spring!

Weekly Challenge info from Tina’s blog:

“Each Saturday at noon EST we will publish a photo challenge similar in form to the now-defunct WPC. If you choose to participate, please make sure to tag your post with the name of our group LENS-ARTISTS so that all of the responses can be found together in the WP Reader. Please also include a link to the challenge moderator’s post. One of our 4 moderators will host the challenge each week.”

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya of https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/

Week 3 – Amy of https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/

Beautiful images John. Spring colours are so inviting.

  4. John, I like the constrast between the snow on the small branches and the beautiful flowers in the garden!

      Thank you Sylvia.

P.S. As with so many WordPress sites lately, since I started roaming far and wide to view Lens Artists, I’m having difficulty commenting or ‘liking’ on your site. I was finally able to comment by a ‘hard sign’ via email address/website name/etc. It still won’t let me ‘like’ it. I will fiddle with cookies, cache, et al in my proverbial spare time. Get it together WordPress!! (I do like your photos.)

  5. Tina Schell says:

Yikes for your window view John, but oh my, I am SO jealous of your tulips!!!
